U&M is involved in innovative and regenerative socio-environmental initiatives.  Nature, people, education, awareness, and a vision for the future all make a difference.  Some of these are described below.

A unique project covering over 6,000 hectares, with 98% in the process of regeneration, focusing on the recovery of native flora and fauna.  The Ibiti Project also makes a social commitment.  Through regenerative tourism, it invests in the region’s economic sustainability.

The goal is to create a fertile environment for happiness to flourish, fostering harmony between people and the environment.

Comprised of a set of buildings with approximately 30,000 m² of built-up area, Moinho in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais state, is structured around four key areas – Housing, Health, Education and Commerce. These areas work organically to offer users, residents, and visitors a unique and comprehensive experience, meeting their diverse needs in a one-stop-shop, both now and in the future.

Moinho aims to foster and strengthen social interaction as a transformative force in human relationships, providing a work setting that inspires innovation and sparks creativity.

Guairá Foundation is a non-profit that has been serving the population of Andrelândia and the surrounding region in Minas Gerais since the early 1990s.  The name “Guairá” comes from the Tupi-Guarani indigenous language and means “land without evils,” symbolizing the foundation’s intention to advocate for respect for life and social and environmental responsibility, while supporting initiatives focused on sustainability, cooperation and citizenship.

The foundation currently distributes its activities across six areas: Education, Sociocultural, Tourism, Rural, Sustainability and Health.
